As we begin planning our holiday calendars, the community of Scottville is already in full swing with Christmas Spirit! and a Coloring Contest and Special Treats for the kids!

There will be an appearance by Santa, Music by Bob Simms, Magic by John Marek, hot chocolate and cookies, and
activities including Games, Balloon Animals and Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides with Ron Soberalski. Thank you to Holden's Home Emporium for sponsoring the children's events!

Saturday, December 12th
Christmas Parade
The parade route will start in the parking lot of the
Mason County Central Elementary School on Maple Street and continue
south on Main Street, turning right onto the alley on the south side of Cox's
and ending in the West Parking Lot of the Dowtown Business District.
The parade is scheduled to start at 2:45pm.
Marquette Rail's Santa Express
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be coming to town on the Santa Express!
They will be stopping at the Main Street crossing, located on South Main Street,
between 3:20 and 3:30pm. The Santa Express is brought to you by
Marquette Rail LLC's Community Outreach program.
After visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus, there will be hot chocolate and cookies
in front of Cox's Sales and Service (142 S. Main Street).
We would like to thank Cox's Sales and Service and Holden's Home Emporium
for providing the hot chocolate to warm up the day!
Activities Around the Community
Create a Christmas centerpiece Thursday December 17th 1:00-6:00 p.m. at the Scottville Library. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. All Mason County District Library programs are Free.
