The Design Committee plays a key role in shaping the physical image of Main Street as a place attractive to shoppers, investors, business owners and visitors. To succeed, the committee must persuade independent business and property owners and civic leaders to adopt a specific approach – and ambitious agenda – for several physical improvements to building, businesses and public improvements.

Goal
To continue with streetscape enhancement, including green spaces downtown, encourage ongoing facade restoration, and begin to consider adding public art to the downtown design.
