Selling the image and promise of Main Street to all prospects by marketing the district’s unique characteristics to shoppers, investors, new businesses, and visitors. An effective promotion strategy forges a positive image through advertising, retail promotional activity, special events, and marketing campaigns carried out by local volunteers.

The mission of the Scottville Main Street Promotions committee is to create an inviting downtown image through the planning and implementing of events that bring enjoyment to all participants involved. The goal of promotions will be to have successful events for visitors and community members and retail events that increase the awareness of businesses downtown and enhances their sales as well.
