Is the Car Show a Fundraiser?
Yes, the Scottville Classic Car Show is one of several events organized by the Scottville Main Street Program. The Main Street Program is a grassroots effort working towards economic development and historic preservation in downtown Scottville. Each of the projects carried out by the program are planned, funded and completed by volunteers. That is why it is important to continue to raise money through projects like the Scottville Classic Car Show, to not only help raise awareness of our great community, but also raise funds to allow these volunteers to create the best community for the friends and neighbors.
Where is the Car Show registration?
The Scottville Classic Car Show registration is located South of T-one internet on S. Main Street downtown Scottville. Please follow the market signs through downtown Scottville to lead you to the registration tent. All participants must register before parking along S. Main St.
From the North; Going South on US 31, turn left on N. Main Street through the light into downtown Scottville
From the South: Going North on Scottville Rd. through downtown Scottville,
From the East; Going West on US 10, turn right on N. Main St. into downtown Scottville.
From the West; Going East on US 10 turn left on N. Main St. into downtown Scottville.
What do I get for my registration?
Your registration provides a free dash plaque for the first 50 registrants, it secures a space for you along S. Main Street in the heart of the downtown entertainment that day, it also enters you to win one of several door prizes given away that day. Registrants also receive free gifts from downtown businesses as well.
Are children or pets allowed?
Children and pets are allowed at both the Cruise and Show.
Where do I stay?
Scottville's Riverside Park offers over 50 modern sites with electric, water, cable and also primitive sites. Each site has its own fire pit. There are a variety of activities to do, including basketball courts, shuffle board, volleyball, an outdoor pool, horseshoe pits, an off-site boat launch, quality trout & salmon fishing, and marked hiking trails. There are also laundry facilities and a handicap accessible bath house. We are within walking distance to downtown Scottville and about 10 miles from Ludington's beaches. This is a safe, fun, quiet, friendly place to spend the weekend, week, month, or entire summer
